I Love Our Church AND Exciting News!

Hey gang,

Just wanted to drop a quick note and say what a joy it is to be your pastor.

I have been reflecting on this a lot lately, especially as I have been able to connect with some other churches. Your desire for and responsiveness to the Word of God and heart for people is such a blessing in our lives. As I said in a recent sermon, I also sincerely appreciate your encouragement to me to keep doing the hard work in the Word in order to bring it to our church body.

On that note, I want to share an exciting door that God has opened for me in regard to writing to serve the larger Body.

As you know, I have always had a heart for church planting and church planters (since I am one!). To serve this community, and all who are seeking to live missionally, I am now beginning to blog at The Resurgence, which is one of the Top 5 Christian Blogs on the Web (often #1). Yesterday, I began a series of 5 entries for Church Planters and we hope that this will now be a regular event as they have encouraged me to keep submitting my work.
