  1. Q. Who is God?

    A. He is the Creator and Ruler of everything.

  2. Q. Who made you?

    A. God made me
    (Gn. 1:26, 27; 2:7; Ec. 12: 1; Acts 17:24-29).
  3. Q. What else did God make?

    A. God made everything
    (Gn. 1, esp. verses 1, 31; Acts 14:15; Rm. 11:36; Col. 1:16).
  4. Q. Why did God make you and everything?
    
A. For his own glory
    (Ps. 19: 1; Jer. 9:23, 24; Rv. 4:11; 4:15).
  5. Q. What does this mean?
    A. To make Himself happy and so that people might know him.
  6. Q. How can we glorify God?

    A. By loving him and doing what he says.
    (Ec. 12:13; Mk. 12:29-31; Jn. 15:8-10; 1 Cor. 10:31).
  7. Q. Why should we glorify God?

    A. Because He made us and takes care of us and because it makes Him happy
    
(Rm. 11:36; Rv. 4:11; cf. Dan. 4:39).
  8. Q. How many gods are there?

    A. There is only one God
    (Deut. 6:4; Jer. 10:10; Mk. 12:29; Acts 17:22-31).
  9. Q. In how many persons does this one God exist?
    
A. In three persons

  10. Q. What is this called?
    A. The Trinity.
  11. Q. Who are they?
    
A. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  12. Q. Where is God?

    A. God is everywhere
    (Ps. 139:7 -12; Jer. 23:23,24; Acts 17:27,28).
  13. Q. Does God know everything?

    A. Yes. God sees and knows everything.
    (1 Chron. 28:9; 2 Chron. 16:9; Lk. 12:6, 7; Rm. 2:16).
  14. Q. Can God do anything?

    A. Yes. God can do anything He wants to do.
    (Ps. 147:5; Jer. 32:17; Dan. 4:34, 35; Eph. 1: 11).
  15. Q. Where do you learn how to love and obey God?

    A. In the Bible.

  16. Q. What is the Bible?
    A. It is 66 books that tell one story about Jesus.
  17. Q. Who wrote the Bible?

    A. Men that were guided by God’s Spirit
    (1 Pet. 1:20, 21; Acts 1: 16; 2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Pet. 1: 10, 11).
  18. Q. Who were the first people that God ever made?

    A. Adam and Eve
    (Gn. 2:18-25; 3:20; 5:1, 2; Acts 17:26; 1 Tim. 2:13).
  19. Q. In what condition did God make Adam and Eve?
    
A. He made them happy and without sin.
    
(Gn. 1:26-28; Ps. 8:4-8).
  20. Q. Did Adam and Eve stay happy and without sin?

    A. No. They sinned against God.
    (Gn. 3:1-7; Eccl. 7:29; Hos. 6:7 where “men” = Adam).
  21. Q. What is sin?
    A. Not doing what God says.

  22. Q. What does every sin deserve?

    A. God’s discipline (or punishment).

  23. Q. What was Adam and Eve’s sin?
    
A. Eating the fruit that God told them not to eat.

    (Gn. 2:16, 17; 3:6).
  24. Q. Why did they eat the forbidden fruit?

    A. Because they did not listen to God.
    (Gn. 3:1-6; cf. Heb. 11:6).
  25. Q. Who tempted them to this sin?
    
A. The devil (or enemy)
    (Gn. 3:1-13; 2 Cor. 11:3; 1 Tim. 2:13,14; cf. Rv. 12:9).
  26. Q. What happened to Adam and Eve when they had sinned?
    
A. They were disciplined by God. They were sent out of the Garden.
    (Gn. 3:14 -24; 4:1-24; Jm. 1: 14, 15).
  27. Q. What effect did the sin of Adam have on all people since then?
    
A. It broke the world and now everyone is born in sin.
    (Ps. 51:5; Rm. 5:12, 18, 19; 1 Cor. 15:21, 22; 1 Jn. 5:19).
  28. Q. What does that mean?
    A. Everyone is born separated from God.
    (1 Kings 8:46; Ps. 14:2, 3; 58:3; Eccl. 9:3; Mt. 15:18-20; Jn. 2:24, 25; Rm. 8:7).
  29. Q. What did God do because they sinned?

    A. He sent Jesus to die for our sins.
  30. Q. What should we do when we sin?
    
A. We should go to Jesus and the person we hurt and ask for forgiveness.
