In addition to the great videos I posted earlier in the week, here are some great recommendations for books to help us navigate the all-important world of parenting as well.

As I mentioned on Sunday, here is some of THE BEST “Gospel-Centered” parenting material out there. My family has been deeply affected by this teaching (as have many families at Crossing) and through our friends at Resurgence, we can now share it with you. Below are links to the five sessions of video and at the bottom is a link to where you can download audio that you could put on your mp3 player for later. Since this content is graciously “open source” so feel free to share it with any friends or family that you can.

Big Truth Questions are key truths about God, The Bible, and other central theological topics that are vital to our children’s spiritual development. Throughout history, these questions have been referred to as a catechism which simply means a lesson that teaches us truths about God. However, since there is a negative stigma that often accompanies this word, we have chosen the much friendlier title of “Big Truth Questions.”
