What is a Community Group?
A mixed group of men and women journeying together for the purpose of authentic life change.
What do Community Groups do?
Meet one night each week for 1.5 hours to make meaningful connections with one another, the Bible, and with God through focused prayer. They also periodically serve in the community, at our worship gathering, and at other local opportunities.
Where and When do Community Groups meet?
In East End homes on various nights of the week. Please visit our website calendar or speak with Dan Gossett for more information about visiting a Community Group.
Are my Children welcome at Community Group ?
Of course! So that Parents can focus solely on making meaningful connections during the 1.5 hour group time, children are kept separate from adults. Some groups provide quality, screened childcare on site. Other parents choose to hire babysitters at their own homes. Not every group has childcare, so look at teh descriptions to make sure. Scholarships for childcare are also available. Some groups, because of their meeting location, are more family friendly than others.
How do I get involved with a Community Group?
Check out the list of groups on our calendar and call the leader. If you want help finding a group that fits with your location and schedule, call our office (502.339.0281) and talk with Dan to get in a group.
